Warehousing & fulfilment

Swiss Post has various warehousing & fulfilment services in Switzerland and abroad. We combine fulfilment and carrier into one unit – for the fastest and most cost-effective combination of fulfilment and pre-collection. For your special requirements we develop the ideal solution for you. You benefit from simplified logistics and reduced delivery times.

Pre-collection

You can deliver your consignments to our post offices in Switzerland or have them picked up by us – without pre-sorting by letter and package volume. This simplifies your logistics process and shortens your delivery times.

Customs clearance

You benefit from fully automated, interface-based customs with a trusted partner of Swiss Post. EU-compliant individual customs clearance takes place during posting – lengthy procedures at the border are simply bypassed. With our web application you can connect your online shop securely and use the clearance solution automatically.

Handling

Your goods will be checked in at one of our logistics centers. There, the compulsory confirmation of the receipt of goods to customs takes place. After that, we separate the consignments for the letter and parcel channels and then feed the deliveries into the respective channel. You only have to manage a single process during shipping, and significantly reduce your logistics effort.

Delivery to the destination country

You can choose from many services offered by the postal companies with which Swiss Post works in the recipient country and offer them to your customers - from the desired location to insurance. Thanks to IOSS customs clearance in the EU, all duties and taxes are paid by the time of delivery, which greatly increases your first delivery rate (exception: in a few EU countries, the recipient may still have to pay a customs clearance fee) - fewer returns and lower costs!

Returns solution

Genuine returns are brought back from the EU to your warehouse in Switzerland. With the return label, your customer can conveniently post the consignment at any post office in their country, at your expense. You decide how we proceed with the return (content checking etc.). You can increase your sales success with uncomplicated returns.
